Heliconia rostrata

Any guessess?????




Hmmm....its "Lobster Claw", as its bracts depict the claws of lobsters...and hence its commonly called so. Its is also called as "Hanging Heliconia".
Its botanical name is Heliconia Rostrata and its family name is "Heliconiaceae".
Mostly grown in tropical areas and it flowers in summer.
